We are proud to have an incredible team of passionate and skilled artists who are deeply committed to helping others develop their artistic abilities. Our team’s dedication goes beyond just teaching art — we transform our convictions into powerful rehabilitative actions that inspire change and growth.

With over 40 years of combined experience in the fields of art and rehabilitative program creation, our team brings a wealth of knowledge, empathy, and expertise to every interaction. We believe in the power of creativity as a tool for personal transformation, and we are driven to provide our participants with the guidance and support they need to build new paths forward.

Together, we are not only teaching art but also empowering individuals to rebuild their lives, one brushstroke at a time.

Our art organization, founded in 2019, is dedicated to supporting incarcerated artists through correspondence and on-site programs aimed at cognitive reconstruction and rehabilitation. We have partnered with numerous institutions, working with incarcerated artists to foster creative growth and self-expression. One of our main missions is to help keep our artists from returning to prison by providing them with the tools, skills, and mentorship needed to build successful, fulfilling lives. Over the years, we have expanded to facilitate onsite classes that teach artistic techniques and rehabilitation skills, reaching over 100 participants and contributing nearly 20,000 seat hours. In addition, we provide all necessary art supplies to our SIA participants and offer mentoring and resources to developing artists, empowering them to cultivate their craft and make meaningful strides in their rehabilitation journey.

At Support Inmate Artists, our mission is to empower incarcerated individuals through art, helping them grow both as artists and as individuals. We are committed to guiding every artist toward improvement, not only in their artistic skills but in their personal lives as well. Through our programs, we provide rehabilitative and cognitive reconstruction skills, using art as a powerful tool for transformation. Our goal is to inspire lasting change, fostering self-reflection and personal development, so that participants can break free from the cycle of incarceration and build brighter futures.

We believe that by nurturing creativity and personal growth, we can help our artists not only improve their craft but also cultivate the skills and mindset needed to live fulfilling, crime-free lives. In addition to our artistic programs, we aspire to develop transitional housing for formerly incarcerated artists, providing them with a safe space to rebuild their lives. We also aim to establish a brick-and-mortar gallery to showcase their art, giving them the opportunity to share their work with the world and create a sustainable future in the arts.
